What in the world are you thinking about today? What has you so distured that you can't stop thinkin about it?

....The bill collectors are going to call today so I am going to let the phone go to voice mail?

...My car aint working right but I gotta get to work cause if not they gonna trip?

...Nobody seems to appreciate the work a bruh/or sista do around here and I am sick and tired of it?

...I need another job cause I aint makin enough money to make it?

...Wish I had somebody to be with then I wouldn't feel all alone?

...I can't have another year like last year cause its gonna drive me insane?STOP ! Because the passage says to "

...think about these things" that are true, worthy of respect, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent and praiseworthy. Now each of these can be sumed up in one word. GOD!! Yeah, Yeah think about HIM.

...Bills due and car aint workin

...GOD will supply all your needs according to HIS riches in glory!

...People may not appreciate you but GOD is love and HE gave HIS SON for you!!!!

...Single or married and feel all alone but GOD will never leave you or forsake you!!!

....Feel like you gonna loose your mind just tell it to the LORD and then the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus!!!!

Today lets not be MENTALLY INSANE but lets have MENTAL INSIGHT!! THINK ABOUT GOD!!

I Never Would Have Made It!!

I got up. I went to work. I started my day. My boss called me in his office. I tried to work. I found it hard to focus. The messy person wants to be nice now. The day is ending. I say to myself is that all? I mean really is that all? You wake up and work just to find yourself worn out. I started off happy and ended up heated.

Then I heard Him in the quiet recesses of my mind softly prodding me like one does when he wants to inspire the heart of a friend while walking side by side in conversation…"I never would have made it. I never would have made it without You. I would have lost it all. But now I see that you were there for me and I say I never would have made it.” I am not talking about Marvin Sapp. I am talking about the only one who could get me through a day like today when I felt like I was going to loose my mind. No need to wonder how I keep from going under because I know I never would have made it without GOD!

What do you say when you don't know what to say? I guess nothing at all. Why do we think we have to say something in the first place? What ever happened to being quiet? What ever happened to just listening? Being alone with your thoughts is not such a bad idea. Who knows you might learn something. If not from yourself then certainly from God but that means you have to sit still long enough to hear Him. Now I really don't have anything to say so I will listen to Chester Baldwin's song What A Fellowship as it strings melodiously through the quiet recesses of my mind ~Sometimes we need to steal away to Jesus, sometimes we need to be alone with our God, ohhhhh, Steal away to Jesus, Steal away to my God, Oh what a communion, just me and my Jesus, Oh what a fellowship, Just me and my Lord~ Wow what a perfect way to end the day!
